Description
From the Hochgern hiking car park, first along forest paths and later on a wide forest road below Agersgschwendt in an easterly direction into the Kaltenbach valley. The last stretch to the ridge between Hochgern and Rechenberg is on a beautiful path. The alpine pastures are idyllically situated on the sunny hill. Wonderful view towards Achental with Geigelstein and Hochplatte and towards Ruhpolding with the valley floor Röthelmoos and the Hörndlwand. Two alpine pastures are managed as usual from the beginning of June to the end of September. Hochgern hiking car park on Burgstrasse
