Description

Oberwössen – Hammerergraben hikers’ car park – Feldlahnalm – Burgaualm – Rechenbergalm – Burgaualm – Hammerergraben hikers’ car park. From the Hammerergraben hikers’ car park in Oberwössen, follow the signs “Feldlahnalm via Hammerergraben” (path no. 75). The slightly uphill path always leads you along the Hammerer Bach. After crossing a forest road further up, the path now leads on a narrower path up to the Feldlahnalm. Here you have the first opportunity to stop. Below the Alm, a small path leads up to the forest road, on which you turn left and first walk slightly uphill and then slightly down again until just before the Burgau-Almen (path no. 77). Here the path leads to the right across the alpine meadow and back up into the forest (path no. 7). A short stretch through the forest, then the path leads to a forest road, which you follow uphill to the right to the Rechenbergalm. A hearty alpine snack awaits you here. The way back follows the ascent to the Burgaualmen. On the Burgaualmen, turn right and continue to follow path no. 7 on a good hiking trail to the Hammerergraben car park. The Rechenbergalm offers a magnificent view of the Burgaualm, Oberwössen and the pasture area north of the Rauhe Nadel. Above the Rechenbergalm there is also an unmanaged alpine pasture. The commercial for Bergader cheese was filmed here. The Alm is not farmed, but offers a fantastic view of the Achental. Refreshment stop: Feldlahnalm – Rechenbergalm (please note the opening hours)
