Whether you are comfortably transported with the sled on the Hochplattenbahn or reach the starting point of the 3.8 km long natural toboggan run under your own steam via the separate winter hiking trail – a lot of fun and action are guaranteed on the rapid way down. The toboggan run is regularly prepared by the municipality of Marquartstein when there is sufficient snow. Toboggan rental: at the valley station of the Hochplattenbahn (ID, driver’s license or similar must be provided as a deposit) Important note: Outside the operating hours of the Hochplattenbahn, oncoming traffic is to be expected on the toboggan run! Use at your own risk. Refreshment stop: Staffn-Alm near the mountain station, open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from December 25th to January 8th. From January 14 to February 12, Saturday and Sunday from 09:45 – 16:00.18. February to February 26 daily from 9:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
