Rudersburg – Gipfel ab Parkplatz Geigelstein

Achentaler hiking badge Checkpoints: Karl; Wuhrsteinalm; Special features: chamois in the Rudersburg summit area and on the Breitenstein massif; marmots; great pine trail to the summit of the Rudersburg Description: From the Geigelstein car park in Ettenhausen, the route takes you along a well-signposted forest path towards Rudersburg. The forest path leads into a path that leads out of the forest. Continue left, always following the signs, and finally steeply to the summit of the Rudersburg. Here you have the most beautiful view of the entire Achental and towards Tyrol. The return journey initially takes you back the same way until you see signs pointing to the Karalm or Breitenstein. The Karalm offers the opportunity to stop for a refreshment during the grazing season. On the way on towards Breitenstein, turn right south of the Breitenstein towards the Wuhrsteinalm (currently not open). Shortly before this, turn right down the Grießelbergsteig to Ettenhausen and back to the starting point.
