Rechenbergalm

On the southern side of the Rechenberg, the rustic Rechenbergalm sits enthroned in a panoramic location high above the Achental. Decorated with beautiful flowers in summer, the terrace offers a magnificent view of Oberwössen, the Hörndlwand and the Kaiser Mountains. In addition to this view, hikers can reward themselves with a traditional snack for climbing up the Rechenbergalm. In addition to fresh milk and homemade alpine cheese, the special delicacies include plum povesen.

Location:

• On the south side of the Rechenberg at 1,160 meters

Farmed:

• Open daily from mid-May to early October (church fair) when the weather is nice. Monday is a rest day.

• From the hiking car park in Kaltenbach (Unterwössen) through the Kaltenbach valley, approx. 2 hours
• From the Hammerergraben hiking car park (Oberwössen) via the Burgaualmen approx. 1 1/2 hours
