Berggasthof Staffn-Alm

The Staffn-Alm mountain inn is located directly above the mountain station of the Hochplattenbahn at 1,070 meters. On the wonderful sun terrace you can not only enjoy a wonderful view, but also delicious, homemade cakes and Bavarian cuisine. On cloudy days, the rustic, cozy guest room invites you to take a break. A special delicacy of the Staffn-Alm are the schnapps from the in-house distillery Scheid. The mountain inn is located directly on the mountain forest adventure trail and, with its children’s playground, is an ideal place to stop for a rest for families. A little below is the launch site for hang-gliders.

• At the mountain station of the Hochplattenbahn at 1,070 meters

Farmed:

• Open daily from 9am to 5pm from May 1st to October 30th.
• Open daily during the Bavarian winter and carnival holidays. Also open from the beginning of January to the third Sunday in March, Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Approx. 1 1/4 hours from the Hochplattenbahn valley station car park (Schloßstr. 46).
